Sarah Muchowski and Emily Million scored in the first half, to give the Lady Flashes all the points they needed for their first win of the season and their first win on their new field.

It was a dreary, rainy, miserable afternoon, but that didn't stop the Lady Flashes' "Hi-Stick Hotties" from getting off to a lightning quick start. Niether did it deter a sizeable contigent of deicated fans who braved the elements to watch their Flashes open the season on their new field with a sizzling 2-0 shutout over the Lady Rams of Riverside (who along with the "Hotties" are picked to challenge New Egypt for the division title).

No still pictures? Blame it on the rain. The bad weather made still photography a real challenge. Low light levels due to the cloudiness and constant rain drops on the lensmakes it hard to get an exposure setting that would produce usable pictures
